Ajit Doval, the NSA of India, and Russia's NSA Nikolai Patrushev held a series of significant meetings, marking the second time they have met within a month. 

These meetings underscore the enduring and friendly relationship between the two countries. Notably, during a Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting this month, Doval and Patrushev discussed the strides made in bilateral cooperation and other crucial issues of mutual interest. Doval also engaged with other NSAs, including those from Myanmar, further strengthening diplomatic ties.

Doval traveled to Moscow to participate in the 'Twelfth International Meeting of High Ranking Officials responsible for security matters' in St. Petersburg. During this trip, he held a bilateral meeting with Russia's Security Council Secretary Patrushev. The Indian Embassy in Moscow tweeted about the meeting, stating that both sides reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation and discussed important issues of mutual interest.

Doval and Patrushev also met during the 19th annual meeting of the secretaries of the security councils of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states in Astana. During this meeting, Doval expressed India's solidarity with the government and the people of Russia in dealing with the threat of terrorism. Both countries have had to face terrorism in recent years, with the attack in Moscow being a particularly shocking event. India has also experienced similar attacks, which is why Doval wants to work with Russia to eliminate this danger. The meetings also discussed defense trade between India and Russia, as well as the possibility of introducing new weapons.

NSA Ajit Doval's meeting with his Myanmar counterpart, Admiral Mo Aung, was a significant step in India's engagement with Myanmar. The discussion encompassed the current situation in Myanmar, infrastructure projects funded by India in the country, and recent developments on the India-Myanmar border. These discussions underline India's commitment to regional security and its active role in addressing critical issues in the region.
