Lok Sabha Election 2024

Lok Sabha Election 2024 :

The first phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 has concluded, and now we await the second phase of polling, which will take place on April 26. In the meantime, political parties are gearing up for the remaining days of campaigning. Today (April 22, 2024), several prominent leaders are holding public rallies in different parliamentary constituencies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public rally in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, while Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will hold a rally in Bangalore. Additionally, Deputy Chief Ministers, Chief Ministers, and several other prominent leaders from Uttar Pradesh will also address public gatherings today. Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a rally in Bihar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking on Sunday (April 21), said that if the Congress comes to power at the center, it will distribute the property of the people among Muslims. Modi referred to a statement allegedly made by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, where he purportedly said that the 'first right' on the country's resources belongs to the minority community.

Addressing a campaign rally in Banswara, Rajasthan, PM Modi said, "This urban Naxal mindset... my mothers and sisters, they won't limit even your mangalsutras. They will go to this extent." He claimed, "This is what the Congress manifesto says, that they will take account of the gold of mothers and sisters, distribute that property, and distribute it to those whom the government of Manmohan Singh said have the first right on property, Muslims."
