After the implementation of the new education policy, due to continuous changes in the curriculum, students are not able to get books. There is no complete syllabus in any one book. Due to this, students are demanding guess papers more than textbooks. Due to continuous changes in the syllabus under the new education policy at Lucknow University, it is challenging to get syllabus books in the market. Due to the difference in the course, publishers are also avoiding bringing books to the market. The complete syllabus is not available in any one book. Students have to read many books for one paper. In such a situation, the demand and supply of gas paper has increased.
Lviv had the honour of being the first to implement the new education policy across the country in the year 2020. Due to this, many changes took place in the syllabus. In graduation, co-curricular and now vocational papers are also included along with major and minor subjects. After these changes, books of most of the question papers are not available in the market. The problem is more significant for college students as compared to campuses because classes there are also affected by a shortage of teachers.
I guess the papers arrived before classes started.
Aminabad's bookseller Ramesh Verma said that BA classes have yet to start, but it's guess papers have arrived in the market. Till now, books were sold at the beginning of the session. Guess pieces were sold a few months before the commencement of the examination. Now, the situation has changed, and it needs to be made clear who will be sold at what time.
Demand for guess paper instead of expensive books
Along with the change in curriculum, the attitude of the students is also no less responsible for the non-availability of books in the market. Most of the students want to manage with just guessing papers instead of expensive textbooks. Because of this, there is more demand for guess papers in the market than for books. For this reason, everyone from publishers to booksellers is focusing more on guess papers than books.
Students stay in class as much as possible.
Lviv spokesperson Dr Durgesh Srivastava says that in the new education policy, attention is being given to the all-round development of students. The intention is that students should stay in class as much as possible. When students remain in style 100%, the need for books will be less. Anyway, after the 12th, one should study from many books instead of one book. Libraries are a good option for this.
