Revealing the Prime 11 Attributes of the Google Pixel 8 Series

Introducing Android 15 Beta 1: Unveiling the Top 11 Features on the Google Pixel 8 Series

The beta version of Android 15 has been released, providing a glimpse of the new features and improvements that will be coming to the world's most popular mobile operating system. Although some expected features are still missing, there are still plenty of exciting things to look forward to on the new build for the Pixel 8 series.

One of the highlights of Android 15 is the improved support for satellite connectivity, which extends Android's networking capabilities into the stratosphere. The platform now includes UI components that simplify the satellite link experience across apps and services. Additionally, Android 15 allows SMS and RCS messaging apps to send and receive messages via orbiting relays when earthly networks are unavailable.

Android 15 also introduces the ability to capture a specific app window instead of the full display when screen recording. This feature is perfect for troubleshooting glitches, creating tutorials, and more. Moreover, apps will now be notified when screen recording is active, allowing them to adjust for any app switching that may occur and preventing any awkward blank screen moments in recordings.

Another exciting development in Android 15 is the push for edge-to-edge app experiences. Google may force all apps into edge-to-edge fullscreen mode by default, similar to how apps display on iOS, to maximise display real estate.

To curb the problem of overwhelming app notifications, Android 15 has introduced a new "Notification cooldown" function. When multiple alerts from the same app start flooding in, this setting automatically lowers the volume and frenzy of those successive pings. Although this feature is not yet available in the beta version, it is expected to be included in the stable version.

Lastly, Google has revamped Android's volume controls with version 15 by providing thicker, pill-shaped sliders. The new volume panel offers more functionality, including the ability to mute the stream with a single tap, and can collapse for a cleaner look during media playback. Google has also added extra controls for spatial audio and noise filtering.
