The competition is fierce between KL Rahul (with a strike rate of 144 and 378 runs in the IPL so far) and Sanju Samson (with 385 runs at a strike rate of 161) for the second wicketkeeper slot. Despite consistent performances for Rajasthan Royals over a decade, Samson's position as a number three batsman might hinder his inclusion in the Indian team.
