Kejriwal has lost around four kilograms of weight after his arrest:

Which has raised concerns among doctors:

Arvind Kejriwal's health is not well while being held in Tihar Jail in reference to a money laundering case related to Delhi's liquor policy. According to sources, Kejriwal has lost around four kilograms of weight after his arrest, which has raised concerns among doctors. We will continue to monitor his health condition and provide updates as they become available.

The Central investigative agency arrested Arvind Kejriwal, the federal convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on March 21 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy-related money laundering case. Following his arrest, Kejriwal remained in Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody and has been remanded to judicial custody until April 15 by the court. After being remanded to judicial custody, Kejriwal was placed in Tihar Jail in Cell No. 2.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has made a grave accusation, claiming that Arvind Kejriwal is the mastermind behind the irregularities in preparing and implementing the Delhi liquor policy. This investigative agency further alleges that several AAP leaders, including former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, are also implicated in this matter.

Meanwhile, the court granted bail to AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Tuesday (April 3, 2024), providing relief in the case.

The ED had stated that there were no objections to granting bail to Singh. The party has termed the ED's allegations baseless. This development has sparked a mixed reaction from the public, with some questioning the credibility of the charges and others expressing concern over the alleged financial irregularities.

What did AAP say?

Adding to the intrigue, on Tuesday, Delhi government minister and AAP leader Atishi revealed a startling claim. She stated that a close associate had warned them to either join the BJP or be prepared to face arrest within a month. This revelation implies a deeper, more complex situation at play.
