CISF Constable Commits Suicide at Delhi Metro Nangloi Station:

A CISF constable allegedly shot himself on Thursday morning at the Nangloi Metro Station in Delhi.

 According to Delhi Metro officials, "He was found dead, with a gunshot wound to his head."

Officials state that the CISF constable's death was a suicide. The deceased was recruited as a constable (GD) in CISF in 2014 and has been stationed in Delhi since January 2022. His body was found near the baggage scanning machine set up at the metro station.

The deceased's head bears a gunshot wound.

The Delhi Nangloi Metro Police Station received information about the incident at 7:03 AM. Soon after receiving the information, a police team reached the scene. The police found the deceased CISF jawan at the metro station. There are marks of a gunshot wound on his head. The police group has sent the body for postmortem. The police are investigating the incident.

It's worth noting that on October 14, 2024, a CISF constable, aged 22, shot himself with his service rifle inside the washroom at the Welcome Metro Station in Delhi. In this case, a senior police officer stated that around 8 PM, a gunshot was heard from the metro station's washroom. The CISF jawan who committed suicide on October 14 was identified as initially from Bihar. Ajay Kumar joined CISF as a constable in 2021.
