There is a fierce war in Buthidaung city of Rakhine province of Myanmar, causing difficulties for the Hindus and people of the Rakhine community living there. Over 1500 Hindus and 20 Rakhines are blocked from leaving the area due to the fighting between the army and the rebels.

People living in Myanmar are being forcibly targeted in the name of caste and religion, as per the reports. The Myanmar Army is being accused of forcing people of the Rohingya community to join the army and fight. Due to the curfew in the Buthidaung and Maungdaw areas of Rakhine State, people are facing problems.

The rebel Arakan Army claimed to have taken control of a 25km long road around these areas, but the Myanmar Army has taken action against them, leading to reports of the rebels' retreat. The fighting has intensified near the Hydro Power Project in Thandwe city in the western part of Myanmar. Medicine shops are closed, and the import of essential medicines is banned.

Pharmacy owners in Thandwe have raised questions about the army's decision and expressed disappointment. Due to strict checking in the war-hit areas, food packets are not even being distributed, causing problems for people. Two Rohingyas have been arrested by Myanmar's junta from refugee camps in Bangladesh for military training. Reports suggest that the Myanmar army is recruiting Rohingya youth from the refugee camps of Bangladesh in the military to fight against the rebels.
