This information was confirmed by CM Shinde himself, who stated that he had a meeting with Sanjay Nirupam and that Nirupam would soon be joining their party.
Following the meeting with CM Shinde, Sanjay Nirupam stated, "Today, I met Eknath Shinde. I had come to meet him. We discussed my future role. Certainly, if a Shiv Sena candidate wins in every election, we will make that effort. I will not contest the elections. This is my return home.
CM Eknath Shinde has claimed victory for the NDA on all seats in Mumbai. He said, "We will win all six seats in Mumbai, and there will be an alliance victory everywhere. Since I became CM, rapid development works have been happening in Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also hold two rallies in Mumbai. We had requested him, and he assured us.
