Kolkata Police's Additional CP 1 Muralidhar Sharma told in a press conference that Kolkata Police has arrested Rajaram Rege from Mumbai in connection with the recce of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's house. He said that Rajaram had met David Headley before the 2011 Mumbai attacks.

Initial investigation has revealed that Rajaram had met some other people in Kolkata. Police said that an investigation is going on in the matter.
