Yogi Cabinet's decision: 23 bus stands of UP will be renovated on the lines of airports, these are the names of those stations

Twenty-three bus stands in different districts of UP will be developed, like airports. They will have modern facilities like airports.

Twenty-three bus stands of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation in the state will be developed on the lines of airports under a public-private partnership. Its proposal will be approved in the meeting of the Yogi Cabinet held on Tuesday.

Giving information about the cabinet decision, Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Singh said that Ghaziabad's Sahibabad, Agra's Transport Nagar and Idgah, Mathura's Old Bus Stand, Kanpur's Kanpur Central (Jhakarkati), Varanasi's Cantt, Prayagraj's Zero Road and Lucknow. The proposal to develop a busport at Amausi Bus Stand on PPP mode has been approved.

Proposals have also been prepared for bus ports at Charbagh in Lucknow, Sohrabgate in Meerut, Rasoolabad in Aligarh, Gorakhpur in Gorakhpur, Ayodhyadham in Ayodhya, Satellite in Bareilly, Rae Bareli and Mirzapur. The proposal to build a bus port on the lines of Bulandshahr Airport in Bulandshahr and Garhmukteshwar Airport in Meerut has also been approved.

He said that the firm had been selected to convert the old bus stand of Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Gomtinagar of Lucknow, and Ghaziabad bus stand into bus ports. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay its foundation stone in the coming days.
