BJP candidate for Himachal Pradesh's Mandi Lok Sabha seat and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut responded on Monday (April 8, 2024) to claims made by Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar. Kangana Ranaut clarified that she neither consumes beef nor any form of red meat.

Taking to social media, Kangana wrote, "I do not consume beef or any red meat. It is shameful that completely baseless rumors are being spread about me. I have been advocating for a yogic and Ayurvedic lifestyle for decades."

She further stated, "Such tactics will not tarnish my image because people know that I am a proud Hindu, and nothing can ever mislead them. Jai Shri Ram."

Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar had accused Kangana Ranaut of recently stating that she enjoys beef. According to news agency PTI, Wadettiwar said, "BJP has given tickets to those like Kangana Ranaut, who wrote on social media that she likes beef and eats it.

Controversial comments or claims about Kangana Ranaut are being made every day. Congress leader Supriya Shrinet recently posted a controversial tweet linking Ranaut to her election constituency, Mandi, on her social media handle. However, Shrinet claimed that she did not make this post.
