Threat of Bombing Delhi Airport Found Again in February

Despite the recurring threats, Delhi International Airport has demonstrated its resilience. Similar threats have been made before, including the most recent incident in February. A flight bound for Kolkata was targeted with a bomb threat, but thorough checks by officials, including on the aircraft, found nothing amiss, proving the airport's commitment to safety.

It was later discovered that the bomb threat was a hoax. DCP IGI Usha Ranganani stated, "A call threatening a bomb on a flight from Delhi to Kolkata at IGI Airport was received. The flight was about to depart from the airport. However, upon investigation, it was found that the call was fake. Necessary security protocols were followed, keeping in mind the safety of passengers.  A case was also registered in this matter.
