"Yamraj is waiting for you": Yogi Adityanath's warning to those harassing women.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Sunday that if anyone in the state commits a crime like harassing a woman, 'Yamraj' will be waiting for him at the next intersection. This comment of the Chief Minister came after the death of a Class 11 student who fell on the road after her dupatta was pulled during molestation in Ambedkar Nagar and was hit by a motorcycle. This incident happened last Friday. Three accused in this case were arrested on Saturday night. Police claimed that two accused were shot and one had his leg broken in the encounter that took place on Sunday after they tried to escape from custody and open fire on the police.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 76 development projects worth Rs 343 crore in Gorakhpur district. Adityanath, in his address on this occasion, mentioned the importance of a robust legal system for law and order. It also stressed that no one should be allowed to misuse the law to disrupt the system.


He said that the law is for security, and if someone has committed a crime like harassing women, 'Yamraj' will be waiting for him at the next intersection.

Meanwhile, two miscreants riding a motorcycle come, and a young man sitting in the back seat pulls the scarf of a student. Due to losing balance, she falls to the ground, and another motorcycle coming from behind crushes her.

Ambedkar Nagar Superintendent of Police Ajit Sinha told PTI on Sunday, "This incident took place on Friday. We had earlier received information that the girl had died in an accident. However, further investigation revealed that the accident occurred due to miscreants pulling her dupatta.

Three accused were arrested.

He said, “After this, we registered a case and arrested three accused on Saturday. The arrested accused were identified as Shahbaz and his brother Arbaaz, who pulled the dupatta. The name of the third accused who ran the motorcycle over the girl is Faisal.

Sinha said that the accused had been booked under sections 302 (murder) and 354 (assault outraging the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code as well as relevant sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act. Has gone.
