CM and LG sit together and decide on the appointment - Supreme Court
The Supreme Court suggested Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal decide on the name of the chairman of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). On the appointment of the DERC chairman, the Supreme Court suggested that the CM and the LG sit together and decide on the appointment. CJI said that both CM and LG should sit together and suggest three names for the DERC chairman.

The next hearing will be held in the Supreme Court
The Supreme Court said that we do not want to step into it. We want you to sit down and do this thing. We are not much worried about the appointment of DERC, that will happen only when both sit together as constitutional functionaries. This is the message of SC. We hope that they will arrive at a unanimous solution. Now there will be a hearing on this matter in the Supreme Court on Thursday.
