The supporters of Khalistan did a scandal in the dark, then made a video and shared it. What did America say about the attack?


Khalistan supporters have again attacked the Consulate of India in America. This attack happened at the embassy located in San Francisco. A local channel - Diya TV - shared the video of the incident on social media. It is seen that some people are setting the embassy on fire. Diya TV has also told that this video of the attack has been released by Khalistan supporters. Hashtags of Khalistan support have been used in the video. It is said that this incident happened between the 1st and 2nd of July according to American time around 1.30 to 2.30 pm. During this, the fire spread rapidly outside the embassy. But, the fire department took swift action and soon brought the fire under control. According to media reports, the embassy has not suffered much damage due to this incident and the staff is completely safe.


What did America say on the attack?
America has condemned this incident. After the incident, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller wrote in a tweet,

The United States strongly condemns the attack on the Consulate General of India. Sabotage and violence against diplomats of other countries is a crimes in America.

Earlier in March also the consulate of San Francisco was attacked by an organization of Khalistan supporters. This attack was strongly condemned by the Government of India. Then the government demanded action against those responsible for the attack.

Canada: Officers charged with murder of Najjar
On the other hand, the anti-India activities of Khalistan supporters in Canada are not taking the name of abatement. On Sunday, July 2, now some posters were put up in Canada under the banner of Sikh for Justice. The posters invited people for the Khalistan Freedom Rally scheduled on July 8. 'Kill India' was written on these posters.

Not only this, Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma and Consul General of India in Toronto Apoorva Srivastava have been accused of killing Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in these posters. On June 18, 2023, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, former chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force, was murdered in the parking lot of a gurudwara in British Columbia.

According to the report of Shreya Chatterjee associated with India Today, the statement of External Affairs Minister Jaishankar has also come regarding the installation of 'Kill India' posters. He has said that India is already in touch with partner countries like Canada. Canada has been requested not to give space to Khalistani groups. He said that the poster was released a day back, and it has already been taken up with the concerned country through the proper channel.
