The Central investigative agency arrested Arvind Kejriwal, the federal convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), on March 21 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy-related money laundering case. Following his arrest, Kejriwal remained in Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody and has been remanded to judicial custody until April 15 by the court. After being remanded to judicial custody, Kejriwal was placed in Tihar Jail in Cell No. 2.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has made a grave accusation, claiming that Arvind Kejriwal is the mastermind behind the irregularities in preparing and implementing the Delhi liquor policy.
