There will be so many casualties that...', Putin said on the Israeli army's operation amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Russia: Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement regarding the Gaza war has also come to light. Putin said that Israel's ground campaign (in Gaza) would lead to so many civilian casualties, which would be absolutely unacceptable.

After the rocket attacks by Hamas, continuous attacks continue towards Israel. The Israeli army has surrounded Gaza city with air strikes and has cut off the supply of basic needs like electricity, water etc. Meanwhile, the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin has also come to light. Putin said that Israel's ground operation would lead to so many civilian casualties, which would be completely unacceptable.

This comment from Putin has come at a time when his own country is fighting a war against Ukraine from 24 February 2022. He has given this statement when the Israeli army has called for the transfer of more than 1 million people of Gaza city from the northern area to the south within 24 hours. In response to weekend attacks by the terrorist organization Hamas, the Israeli army has mobilized tanks and laid siege to Gaza and is likely to launch a ground operation.
The Russian President said the use of heavy weapons in residential areas is fraught with serious consequences for all parties. “Most importantly, civilian casualties would be absolutely unacceptable,” he said. Now the main thing is to stop the bloodshed.

Earlier on Wednesday, Putin had criticized America's role in the crisis caused by Hamas' attack on southern Israel. Putin had said, I believe many people will agree with me that this is a vivid example of the failures of America's Middle East (West Asia) policies.
According to Russian media, Putin had said, America tried to establish a monopoly on peace agreements, but unfortunately did not pay any attention towards implementing those agreements which would be acceptable to both the parties.
Putin also expressed concern about Washington's pressure on both sides, saying it was an attempt to impose a 'unilateral solution' without considering the core interests of the Palestinian people, including those outlined in UN Security Council resolutions. It also includes the creation of an independent Palestinian state.

Putin claimed that America never took into account the basic interests of the Palestinian people. Putin's comments came during a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani in Moscow. He also stressed the need to prioritize minimizing harm to civilians on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
