The oxygen cylinder in JPS Hospital exploded while being unloaded from Dala. Two employees were left in tatters in the accident. He has been admitted to Trauma in critical condition.

An oxygen-filled cylinder exploded outside JPS Children's Hospital near Balaganj intersection in Lucknow on Thursday afternoon. The driver and the gas agency employee lost their lives in the accident. One's hand got separated from the torso. Feet, claws, and fingers were cut off. The accident was so horrific that everyone was shocked. Heart and mind remained stunned. With the help of the medical team, the police somehow admitted both of them to Trauma. Where the driver died. The employee is undergoing treatment. His condition is very critical.

There is an oxygen plant in New Faridipur in the name of Sanjay Srivastava's Allied Enterprises. According to the police, this plant supplies oxygen cylinders to JPS Hospital. At around 1 p.m. on Thursday, the company's driver, Arif (30), a resident of Fatehpur Mawai Rahimabad, and employee Shobhit Patel had set out to take the cylinder to the hospital. The dala was parked outside the hospital gate. Meanwhile, both the cylinders were being unloaded. Then, while unpacking, a cylinder fell and burst with a loud bang. Arif and Shobhit got seriously injured and fell on the road. Both were admitted to Trauma in a lifeless condition. Arif died after a few minutes. Shobhit's need remains critical. He is undergoing treatment in the ICU. Shobhit is originally a resident of Balamau, Hardoi. He is living with his sister Rashmi in Naraina village of Kakori.


The accident happened in the blink of an eye...both jumped 15-20 feet.
After parking the dala outside the hospital, Arif and Shobhit returned and opened the gate of the dala. A cylinder was taken out and taken inside. When he picked up the cylinder to remove the second one, it slipped out of his hand and fell. As soon as it fell, it exploded. Arif and Shobhit jumped up to 15-20 feet and then fell on the ground. The lower part of both their bodies was completely damaged. One of Arif's hands also got separated from his torso. There was so much blood that the water on the roadside turned red with blood.


Vehicles were damaged, panic spread, and glass was broken.
At the time of the accident, a part of the cylinder fell on a Centro car passing by. The car which got damaged. Another car parked nearby had its windows broken. Not only this but the board and glass of the windows of the hospital were also broken. The explosion was so powerful that hundreds of people gathered. For some time, people could not understand what had happened. He was thinking of some big incident. But after some time, it became clear that there had been an explosion in the oxygen cylinder.

What is the reason for the blast?
About a dozen oxygen cylinders were delivered to the hospital every day. Almost the same number of cylinders were brought on Thursday also. The question is, how did the cylinder burst? After initial investigation, it is suspected that the cylinder was weak and more oxygen was filled in it than its capacity. He fell rapidly to the ground. Due to this, the accident occurred. Police are investigating every aspect. DCP West Rahul Raj said that efforts are being made to investigate the matter and find out the real reason for the blast.
