Israel Hamas War: Journalist killed, six others injured in missile attack in Lebanon, allegations against Israel

A video journalist of news agency Reuters has been reported killed in a missile attack in southern Lebanon on Friday. Six other journalists were also injured in this attack. It is being told that this accident happened due to a missile fired from Israel. The killed journalist has been identified as Isam Abdallah. The injured include journalists from Al Jazeera and news agency AFP. The injured have been admitted to hospital.

Journalist lost his life in Israel-Hezbollah fight
According to media reports, the journalists were reporting from Alma Al Shaab, Lebanon. This area is close to the Israeli border and this is where the fighting is going on between the Israeli Army and the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has claimed the journalist's life in the Israeli attack. However, Israeli security force IDF has not given any statement regarding this. Gilad Erdan, Israel's representative to the United Nations, said that of course, we do not want to attack or kill anyone, but such incidents happen during war. He said Israel would investigate the incident.

Video of the attack surfaced
Reuters issued a statement saying that Isam Abdallah was providing live video signals to broadcasters at the time of the missile attack. At the same time, there was a loud explosion near them, due to which there was a scream. The news agency expressed grief over the death of the journalist and expressed condolences to the victim's family. Two other Reuters journalists, Thayer Al Sudani and Maher Najeh, were also injured in the attack. However, both of them have been discharged from the hospital after first aid. Maher Najeh said that Abdallah died in a missile attack by Israel. Another missile targeted the journalists' car, causing the car to burst into flames. News agencies AP and Al Jazeera have accused Israel of the attack, but Reuters has said that it is not yet clear from which direction the attack came.
