For The First Time, A Transgender Person Got A 'Certificate Of Birth' In Rajasthan.

In Rajasthan, the first transgender birth certificate in the state was issued by the Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation. Director of the Economic and Statistics Department and Chief Registrar of Birth Death Bhanwarlal Bairwa gave this certificate to Noor Shekhawat. Noor Shekhawat applied for the birth certificate in the corporation 10 days back.

With this, Noor has become the first transgender to get a birth certificate in Rajasthan. Chief Registrar Bairwa informed that the first third-gender birth certificate had been issued to Noor Shekhawat. Until now, we only got the birth record of males and females. Now the history of the third gender will also be available on our portal.

Noor Shekhawat expressed happiness after getting the third gender certificate. He said that he had studied till the 12th. Noor says that there is also a third-gender community in society. It should be given the same rights in society as the familiar person has. His old birth certificate listed his gender as male. Noor, 31, said she wants to change her gender in her 10th and 12th mark sheets.
