Flood in Delhi: Saurabh Bhardwaj wrote a letter to LG – take action against the guilty officers

Three officers, including the Chief Secretary, have been accused of ignoring the instructions of ministers to call NDRF and Army Engineers Regiment to repair the drainage regulator.
New Delhi: Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj has written a letter to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena demanding action against Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Ashwini Kumar and IFC Secretary Ashish Kundra. He has alleged that these bureaucrats deliberately ignored the instructions of two ministers Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi.
The ministers had clearly instructed these officers to call the NDRF and the Army Engineers Regiment at night to repair the WHO's building drainage regulator. The officials ignored the instructions which led to the flooding of VIP areas of Lutyens' Delhi including the Supreme Court. Later in the day, the LG claimed that the work would have been done only if the NDRF and the Engineers Regiment were called in the next day.

Bhardwaj has said that if the instructions of the ministers had been followed and the army and NDRF had been called last night, the flood could have been avoided. The officers conspired against the Supreme Court.

Actually, Yamuna water entered ITO after a drain regulator failed on Yamuna. This caused a traffic jam. Regarding this, a debate was witnessed between LG VK Saxena and Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj in front of the media on Friday.

LG VK Saxena along with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, his two ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj on Friday visited the site at Vikas Bhawan in ITO where a drain regulator was damaged on Thursday night. After this, while talking to the media, the LG said, "Due to the collapse of gate number 12, Yamuna water is going towards ITO. Teams of Army, NDRF, Irrigation Department, Flood Department and all other departments are working to stop this." Is doing." Meanwhile, Saurabh Bhardwaj interrupted the LG.

NDRF not sent at night
Delhi Health Minister and Delhi Jal Board Chairman Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "I had appealed to many officials since night to involve NDRF and Army, but there was no hearing. Now NDRF has come and we thank them." That soon the team would be able to bring the situation under control. But despite the Chief Secretary being present in the group, no officer responded."

Divisional commissioner did not listen to the request
Saurabh Bhardwaj later tweeted naming the Divisional Commissioner, claiming how repeated requests were ignored by the Divisional Commissioner. He wrote, "Because some media friends are asking - if some IAS will ignore the words of their minister even in such an emergency, then how will the government work? Ashwini Kumar ji is the divisional commissioner, but even after repeated requests, at night NDRF was not called. Will you act arbitrarily because of the ordinance?"

In the whole matter, the LG of Delhi said, "This is not the time to accuse or comment on anyone. Right now we need to work together. If we continue to accuse each other like this, then the work will not be successful." How it will happen?"
