Reached 208.62 meters on Thursday

By 2 pm on Thursday, the water level of Yamuna had reached 208.62 metres. This danger mark is more than 3 meters from 205 meters. Yamuna is in 22 km from Wazirabad to Okhla. The Central Water Commission fears that most of the areas will be submerged when the water level reaches 209 metres. 12 teams of NDRF have been deployed here. 2,700 relief camps have been set up.

Yamuna water reached CM residence

There has been waterlogging up to 300 meters of the CM residence. Yamuna Bazar, Majnu Ka Tila, Nigam Bodh Ghat, Monastery Market, Wazirabad, Geeta Colony and Shahdara area are the most affected due to the rise in the water level of Yamuna. The Delhi government has banned the entry of people from outside the state. That's why the Singhu border, Badarpur border, Loni border and Chilla border have been sealed. The entry of heavy goods vehicles has been banned. However, the entry of small vehicles will continue.
