In the global markets, both gold and silver were falling at $ 1,825 an ounce and $ 21.10 an ounce, respectively. Saumil Gandhi, senior commodity analyst at HDFC Securities, said treasury bond yields have reached a new multi-decade high following the US Federal Reserve's stance of keeping interest rates increased in the last few weeks.
