Theatrical rights of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawaan' sold for the most expensive deal in Indian cinema history!

Now it is being told that the theatrical rights of 'Jawan' in Odisha have also been sold at the most expensive price in the history of Indian cinema.


A report appeared on boxofficeworldwide.com. It was told that Rajshree Production has bought the theatrical rights to release 'Jawan' in Odisha. Odisha is a big market. There is a strong following of Shahrukh. 'Pathan' also performed well there. In such a situation, companies are ready to pay exorbitant prices for the rights of 'Jawan'. The price at which Rajshree bought these rights is said to be the biggest amount in the history of Indian cinema. However, it was not told what that figure is.

 

The rights to release 'Jawan' in Tamil Nadu are also said to be sold. It was told in the same report that the theatrical rights of Tamil Nadu have been bought by Red Giant Movies. Its price is being told between 4.50 crores to 5 crores. Which is a huge amount. But this film will have a good hold in Tamil Nadu. Because the film is made by Tamil director Atlee Kumar. Tamil film actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Nayantara, and Yogi Babu are working in the film. Plus Shah Rukh ka Jalwa toh hayye hai.

Shah Rukh's previous film 'Pathan' earned a distributor share of above Rs 4 crore from Tamil Nadu. The total earnings of the Tamil version of the film was Rs 8.75 crore. Recently, an action scene from the film was leaked. In this, Shahrukh was seen wearing a white lungi and shirt. This was the scene at the police station, in which he was seen beating the policemen only.

'Jawan' is scheduled for release on 7 September. Apart from Shah Rukh, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayantara, actors like Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Ridhi Dogra are also working in the film. Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone will be seen in guest roles.
